Avant homes- Kitchen supplier

Hi, I have just purchased an Avant home, I am wanting to get hold of the kitchen supplier details so I can get a price for purchasing extra cabinets to create a kitchen island. I have asked the sales advisor a number of times for the details but they seem reluctant to pass them on until after completion for some reason. Does anyone know who provides the kitchens and has anyone been given their details from Avant? This would be a massive help.
Thanks
Thanks

This website tends to imply it could be one of a number of suppliers
https://www.avanthomes.co.uk/specification/
I expect Sales are reluctant to let you know the exact spec (and therefore price) of the kitchen they are installing so it might be difficult to get this information (they probably also have strict timescales for the fitters to do the installation and won't want them staying longer even if paid by yourself).
It might be worth investigating if you can put in a kitchen after the property has been built if they reduce the price. I don't know if this is even possible though and what impact it would have on services to the kitchen.0 -

Catch 22. Without a functioning kitchen it won't be mortgageable and I don't see the builders being keen on the OP installing a kitchen, before completion, in a house that isn't theirs.0 -
The developer probably thinks you're going to try and undercut them, argue about price, or try and get your own people in to create this island while they're finishing the rest of the property, which would be a right hassle for them. None of these things are completely unreasonable objections, so you're probably going to have to wait until you've moved in before they give you the details you're looking for. Sorry.0

Thank you for the fast replies, I agree I think they are refusing to give me the details incase I ask for a price. But this is not the case I am not wanting the kitchen island to be installed until I have moved in as I want to be able to place it in a specific location. I just wanted to be able to price it up so I knew how much I needed. Avant have been terrible in allowing me change anything to do with the house, I would not dare ask them for an island to be included.
Thought it was worth a try incase someone had there details.0 -
How strange - when we bought our new build we were given the name of the supplier as we wanted to change the cupboard doors along with their email address.
Quick email to kitchen supplier with the plot no and development and I had a detailed quote back with what units I already had and what I would need to complete the work I wanted to0 -
It's quite common to receive a handover pack on moving in which has details of paint colour, unit type etc for the purposes of repair and/Or replacement further down the line.
Perhaps enquire as to whether this will be the case rather than asking directly. If so least you know it will be info readily available on moving in.0
