Plantronis headset installation, please help

Hi, I've just bought a Plantronics DSP 300 headset to use with Dragon naturally speaking 9 software. Dragon is up and running fine but I'm not having any luck with the headset which came with no software included. I've done a bit of surfing and apparently I might need the following drivers:
1.USB Human Interface Device
2.USB Audio Device
3. Plantronics USB Bulk Driver

Can anyone help either solve this problem or locate these drivers. I would be very grateful as I bought the software to stop my RSI getting even worse than it already is. Many thanks.

Plantronics headsets are plug and play. You plug it in. It works. In theory.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

I have Windows XP. Unfortunately, the plug and play doesn't seem to be working. Although Windows recognized the hardware it says it can't complete the installation and I don't really understand why.:T Hurrah for MSE0

Try shutting down PC.
Plug the device in the USB port and turn the PC back on.
Or the other way around, Plug in after reboot.
Try another USB port.
Does it ever ask for the windows disk?
Can you try it on another computer just to make sure the device is not faulty.
I have been thinking about getting a head set for the same software so I was interested in this post, can I ask where you bought it and the cost.0 -

Ok, so I found the persona application on the plantronics website and installed that and they seem to be working. Persona does say that they are not fully installed but they seem to work fine in Dragon so they can do what I need them to do. Have tried the reboot etc but it still says they are not properly installed. I don't understand why or what features seem to be missing as I can here and dictate fine.
I bought them off ebay for around £18. They generally seem to be anything between £40-£100 depeding in the model. Make sure you use a price comparison website as the same model can vary buy as much as £30-40. I was quite suprised. Amazon seems to be a reputable place to get a new headset at the lower end of the market and there are quite a few on ebay.
Hope that helps.:T Hurrah for MSE0 -
