Independent shop/trader areas in Central London?

After visiting Borough Market in London for the first time and enjoying all the independent, small businesses there.
I was wondering are they any other areas in Central London that are dominated by small, niche Independent retailers and traders? (As opposed to the big traders you see on Oxford/Regent Street)

Leadenhall Market may be worth a go (haven't been there for a while but certainly used to have independent shops), Shoreditch (for Columbia Road flower market, with shops nearby), Camden Lock, Greenwich Market (go to Cutty Sark station and wander around). For street markets, Petticoat Lane, Portobello Road has lots of shops I seem to recall. My personal favourite is Spitalfields, there are some independent shops still left after the development.0
