Tax on Robo investments

Options
How is tax taken on general robo investment accounts (not ISAs obviously) ?
I have a general account with Nutmeg that invest in ETFs across bonds, equities etc.
At the end of the year, do I declare the notional rise in value, even if I have not withdrawn anything ?
And what if the investment value actually decreases ?
How does the personal tax allowance on profits from stocks and shares come into play ?

    It isn't.

No. 'Notional rise in value' is irrelevant. The only time you need to consider tax - which would be Capital Gains Tax - is when you sell some of your non ISA investments. If you have made a gain of more than £11300 on the investments when you sell, you will have CGT to pay.

Again, only relevant when you actually sell

There might be some tax to pay on interest or dividends from non ISA investments.

What sort of amounts are you talking about?
