Private car park entrance and exit width

Hi,

I am looking for advice.
I’ve parked in a multistorey private carpark today and upon exiting the car park the exit was very tight for cars and I scuffed a wheel on the very tight curb

In all honesty I’m not that bothered about a claim but as it’s a new car park after inspecting I saw other evidence of other damage and saw a vw golf clip the curb as to show how small it is!

Has anyone any advice on how to go about interacting with the company.

I did check and no notices etc about small size of exit and in my opinion no need to have the curbs so high and tight

Please no rude comments as I’m just asking for advice

Anyway you can check with the local council to check if it had been designed/built correctly or been modified?
