Hi everyone.Have what may be a pleasant problem.Checking my bank account on Friday i found that someone called bbp tate camden had deposited the sum of £4995.91 into my account for PPI & interest refund.My problem is have had no confirmation about this money from said people and i can find no website for same so cannot contact any one to find out if it is genuine.I was wondering if this has happened to any one else.

Hello everyone.All sorted now, rang Barclays PPI dept this morning and they confirmed it was for a Barclay loan.

I have just received a ppi repayment to my account of £4000+but have NI idea what it is for or from whom .

I had loans with Barclay's and also an overdraft,they only thing I can think of is its a repayment in regard to either one or both ?

Did you ever get written confirmation of what and who your payment was connected with

Hi,
I’ve had a pleasant shock, if that’s the correct term , when I checked my online bank account to find a sizeable refund from this company, I haven’t made any claims, I’m not touching it just in case, nor am I complaining!! I just had a shock, albeit a nice one when I saw it!!:T:T I’ll phone Barclays tomorrow, I’ve had a number of loans with them over the years, all fully repaid now and I see from the previous posts on this thread that it might be related to that, ie missold ppi?

Will my refund have been taxed at source prior to reaching my account? I’d better phone Barclays today and find out I suppose!!
