Hi,
I want to get a credit score from Credit Club but I'm concerned about 'Monthly household rent or mortgage' field. I live with a partner, we pay £400 rent in total. Should I divide it into a half and put £200 there? Because I pay half of £400. In 'Personal annual income, before tax' field, I put my income and in 'Additional household income, before tax' field, I put my partner's income as well. I'm not sure if field 'Monthly household rent or mortgage' regards only to my part of rent (£200) or our household (£400).
Please help me with that
Best Regards

It is a personal SOA however if you were to become single then you'd be liable for £400 so I can see arguments for putting in both. The other side of the coin as well is that a difference of £200 won't affect much because you shouldn't be borrowing with finances that tight in the first place.
However the score is meaningless, it means nothing at all. Ignore the number, concentrate on the contents of your credit file. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Hi DixJoe,
Thanks for your message.
The figure entered for your mortgage should be the full amount paid to the lender. If you pay only part of it, we'd expect you to enter the other person on the mortgage's salary in the 'other household income' section.
I hope that helps answer your question.0
