Can i cancel Virgin Media?

I recently joined Virgin Media for all my phone calls and also broadband plus got a tv box but all ive had is problems.

1. Had to wait for a disk and tv box to come out and told about 5 days. 2 weeks later i phoned and asked where it was and they said they will send me another 1 since i didnt receive the 1st one.

2. When it did arrive it was only the tv box and not the disk, so had to wait another couple days for the disk to come which to my surprise it did.

3. My tv box never worked and i even bought a new battery which cost £4 for the remote controll cos i just thought it was that but again it never so wasted £4

4. Tried to phone and even left messages cos would be on hold for up to 25 minutes at a time without getting through and at 10p a minute does mount up. but again nobody ever phoned me back about the messages.

5. finnaly got through today on the phone and got put through to 3 different departments and the final department said i have to phone technical support line about my tv which probably costs £1 or more a minute? i dont know but it is a 0906 number i got

Am fed up now but the problem is if i cancel my 12 month agreement will i have to pay the 12 months contact which they said i had or can i get out of it? thanks

Well before you cancel them make sure you log a fault with the TV service, if you're calling a premium rate number they will refund the cost of the call if they find a genuine problem with the service
