Getting a BT line connected?

BT were supposed to come last Tuesday (9/10/07), to connect/install a new line to a newbuild property.
They did not turn up. I rang Head Office, (next day 10/10/07) who claim there is a fault with my line, and they will reprocess my order, and the Engineer will phone me (on mobile), to arrange another day.
As of yet this has not happened.
Does anyone know if I will cause myself problems by putting through another order (online, last one via phone), and that may/will speed up the process, or will I be liable for more charges...
Thanks

No point in putting in another order, but make sure you get them to divert your calls to your mobile (free) and give you a call allowance. Also claim compensation for the missed appointment.

An engineer wont phone you to arrange an appointment, an advisor at BT Retail will liase with you & Openreach to obtain a date for the appointment.0

Thank you both.
I put in another order yesterday, BT phoned today, and they are coming this afternoon!
Though not from the order I placed yesterday, from the order on the 1/10/07, so am glad I placed another order, as BT would not have informed me, or looked into when an Engineer was coming out.0
