Def. A scam. There will be a link asking you to click and verify your account number and probably picking up on your password and personal details. Just delete it, then delete it from your deleted items box and forget about edit. Always delete any like thismake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

I agree - try logging on to Amazon - directly (amazon.co.uk) - NEVER use a link provided
If you feel like it - you may want to forward the email on to stop-spoofing@amazon.com - as an attachment - for investigation0 -
Thanks for the replies,i will delete it now.0

Just for further knowledge, it is always safe to open an email and inspect the contents.
It is acting on those contents, ie clicking links where problems arise.
Agreed with above, this is a phishing email and ones like this are very common.
Just delete and ignore, no need to start deleting from trash etc0 -

IIRC it should be safe now, but back in the day (puts cloth cap on and pipe in mouth), there were occasionally issues because the email client sometimes automatically opened/ran certain bits of content which led to exploits (IIRC buffer overun exploits involving purported image files).
These days it's not an issue, but I wouldn't tell an email to "display images" if it looks like it might be spam as that can involve loading them from a server which can be used to tell which email address are active leading to more spam.0 -
I never click on links in emails, I type in the web address manually, log on and account is normal (surprise surprise).0
