Littlewoods/Very/Great Universal PPI

Hello
A few months back I started a PPI claim with Shop Direct as I have had a number of accounts with them over the years. I have received a few letters over the last couple of months keeping me informed of the process for my Littlewoods claim and today I received a letter stating that my claim for Littlewoods has been successful and I will receive a cheque for £1400 in the next couple of weeks - I am shocked as I didn’t even know if PPI had been added to the account.
All the letters I have received from Shop Direct are referring to PPI that was on my Littlewoods account, not Very or Great Universal who I also included in my original letter.
My question is should I know start up separate claims for Very and Great Universal? Even though I included all three in my original letter?
Has anyone been successful with all three seperately or do you think the £1400 figure is for all three?
Would shop direct look at all accounts linked to me?
I am glad I started this claim, i was more intrigued than anything. Also annoyed that it was added to my account without my knowledge! But still, nice to get some money back.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have also put in for PPi claim and when doing so I done a separate claim with Littlwoods and another for Shop direct. However are they the same company?
I also have had Great universal, Kays and Empire Stores catologues in the past . Are they all the same company? I don't know either whether you have to apply for separate catologues or not.
I've Also had a successful claim from Ambrose Wilson but I also had Fashion World for years but again when putting these PPi s do they check all catologues that are all now under same company?
Thanks0 -
Its a complaint...
Not a claim...make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
They don't "check" anything other than the specific account which you have named in your complaint.do they check all catologues that are all now under same company?
Remember, it's not somehow wrong to have insurance.
If you hope to have it refunded, you need to show how it was mis-sold to you.0
