Can anyone recommend any car mats please, I am looking online and even with the "non slip" ones, some people have reviewed that they do slip while others say they don't.
Never bought these before :) so need help, thanks.

No car mat is slip proof unless you fix it into place with washers and self tapping screws through the floor. I have Ford ones in my Mondeo that are held in place by plastic locks and even they eventually slip.

As above in my SAAB and previous two Vectra's the mats are held in place by factory fitted plastic fittings built into the carpet with respective holes in the mats. If your car has fixings took at OEM mats. If not then try Velcro.

I got some free ex-demo square carpet samples from a carpet shop and use those. Get to choose your colour and pattern too!

Can't get more moneysaving than that!

My last car was a C-Max with similar mats and the same problem. My current Hyundai Tucson was bought with Hyundai rubber floor trays for daily use and Hyundai carpet mats for outings. Both have locking clips, but they are in the form of hooks and take a little force to push down. They don't move, once fitted.

The velcro suggestion is what I did with the C-Max.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.

With car mats I would go OEM for the thickness and fixing kits. I've bought mats, both rubber and carpet, from eBay and Amazon and despite them being called "Premium" they were really thin. They did fit well though as the manufacturers often use customers cars as a template.
