lost Vodafone dongle what to do?

OH works in a number of locations where there is no WiFi and relies upon his Vodafone dongle to connect to the internet. He has had it for some time and pays a monthly fee. Unfortunately it has gone missing. He has asked around and no one has seen it. How would he go about getting a replacement?

Assuming you got the dongle from Vodafone in the first place, then phoning Vodafone would be a good first step, or contact wherever you bought it from but in either case a replacement will almost certainly be chargeable.

it originally came from Currys I think but that branch has since closed.

First port of call is to Vodafone to get it turned off so nobody else can use it and rack up a daft bill and to get them to send a new SIM card. Then go buy another.
