Read your meter every hour and find out what is using the power, it's not that difficult.

    Is that number solid?

    69 times 7 equals 483

    483 times 17.5 equals 8452.5 pence equals £84.52 so say £85.

    that solid enough for you?

I would check them every hour to isolate the problem.

Thank you. That is totally unrealistic to be using 69kW of electricity a day and that doesn't even include the heating...

I just called the hydro and explained this to the guy, I said, can you not agree it's totally unrealistic to use 69kW a day and his response was "well it depends what you're using" ...I'm not even sure we could use that much with EVERY single light and appliance running straight for 24 hours. He's put me through to another department so hopefully they will be more helpful.

I had a look at our meter and only the key meter has any means to obtain readings so it must do both, the other is only for the teleswitch. Though I am cycling through everything with the blue button and not a clue what reading to take. As there is like 10 "pages" worth of different numbers and no explanation as to what each one is for.

It may not account for everything, but bear in mind, the panel heaters probably aren't on the heating circuit and will cost a lot more to run than the storage.

Also, just to confirm, there's no en-suite or downstairs bathroom with an electric shower?

We look forward to receiving your readings again tomorrow.

In the meantime look at your bills - do the readings line up with whats on them ?
