regarding the day 26 thing, i have gone back to read the newbie thread again, it says to appeal on day 26 if you received a windscreen ticket, as they forget to send a notice to keeper within required time, but i did not receive a windscreen ticket and i have also read that the letter i received is counted as the notice to keeper?

i will send on day 26 anyway ( i will take it from date letter was sent) and try my best to appeal it, thanks for the help, and sorry again.

The Newbies faq thread covers what to do when no windscreen ticket was involved.

I’ve read it Quentin, it was just someone above said not to send till day 26 but in the newbie thread it only mentions day 26 in regards to windscreen ticket. It doesn’t mention if I need to wait 26 days if it wasn’t a windscreen ticket though. Unless I’ve missed it. I’m dyslexic and find it really hard to read long big chunks of texts so I’ve tried reading small parts every now and again so possibly missed something. I’ll go back and try go through it again.

Yes no need to delay if the PCN was postal. But don't appeal by snail mail.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
