NatWest platinum account- travel insurance

One of the main benefits of the NatWest Platinum account was the free annual travel insurance. They have now implimented a charge of £75 a person for the over 70's and that is without allowing for any pre existing medical cntions or medications. I am wondering if it would now be better to look for another travel insurance specifically aimed at the over 70's which could be cheaper. There are very few other decent benefits with NatWest plantinum account. except the free Green Flag breakdown cover and two free admissions to National Trut properties

Now that the NatWest Plantinum account has put a premium of £75 a person for their annual travel insurance for the over 70's, we do not consider this account represents good value for money especially as it already loaed because of a pre existing condition. which is a Heart Valve repair (not a repacement) -3 years ago The only medication now is aspirin. We will revert to one of NatWest ordinary Bank accounts. we will investigate Annual Travel Insurance policies for the Over 70's . We understand that Columbus is good value and has a good reputation.any other suggestions will be appreciated

The Nationwide FlexPlus is the packaged bank account that offers travel insurance the longest, covering up to the age of 75. They may all exclude a given condition though or impose a fee, so it's best to check with them.
