CCT – overstay PCN

Hi guys,

Doing this again for a friend…

Another friend has received 2x identical PCN's for an overstay in a free 15 minute wait only, drop off point. The literature they have received is laughable! Hand written address on one, printed on the other. The first one they opened is printed at an angle – presumably when the "companies" office inkjet mis-fed the paper? And the three sheets of low grade recycled photocopier paper that the PCN's have been printed on are also stapled in the top left-corner. I thought that was a bit weird for a professional, legally binding document?

Also, the outfits address is a PO Box. Really?

So where do we start. He got both PCN's on Saturday. And has the usual 28 days to appeal.

Thanks in advance.

You start by reading up on this in the newbies faq thread near the top of the forum

Is it Cobalt Telephone Technologies who are a BPA member - 28 days and not 21?

  • Yes, all noted guys! And yes, CCT = Cobalt Telephone Technologies.

So I'm looking at the blue template in the newbies thread as CCT are a BPA member ;)

@IamEmanresu - 21 days? I thought the thread advice was 26? - Edit: I've just noticed I was quoting 28 in my first post...
  • Just a quick update; over Christmas my friend did his appeal email submission and few days ago got the, "we're reviewing it" letter. About two lines... on recycled, printed on an inkjet printer, paper.

    What's next :D

    Wait patiently.
  • My friend had an email from these clowns on Thursday; they've decided to cancel the ticket on this occasion as a good will gesture...

All he did was submit the template from the sticky :D

I made a drink out of it! Thanks people, keep up the good work.

Yes, they recognise the template and realise they are going to have to put a lot of effort in for any return.

There is plenty of lower hanging fruit out there for them.
