I got a bit silly last week and used this to change to Powergen who were not the cheapest supplier, but I got a bit crazy about the Tesco points.
I have since cancelled the switch by sending Uswitch an e-mail and they have confirmed that this has been done.
But I actually have my sensible hat on and still want to change to what is actually my cheapest supplier. Is Uswitch really that accurate? It is saying that I can save about £150 a year if I switch.
If I do switch and find I am not happy with service or that it is still too expensive, how long is it before I can switch again?

Personally I'd not recommend USwitch. Energyhelpline, Simply Switch or any of the other switching sites mentioned at the top of the Gas&Elec forum but whichever one you use please make sure you use actual usage figures from the previous 12 months of bills not payment amounts.0

I would check with Powergen that the switch has been cancelled as it is not unknown for people to "cancel" with the likes of uswitch only for the transfer to go ahead anyway. You are obliged to stay with a supplier for 28 days before changing to a new supplier but as it normally takes a minimum of 28 days to change supplier this would be the case anyway. It is also wise to note that the 28 days is from when your supply starts with the new supplier and not from when you agreed to change to them.0
