warrenty?

Hi,

Bought an indesit washing machine from Argos 18months ago and it has occurred a fault.

I am sure i read somewhere that you can still get it repaired under a certain act but i might be wrong? Can anyone confirm or advise on this before I contact Argos please?

If you want to claim under warranty, you will need to go to the manufacturer, not Argos. If you want to complain to Argos that it didn't last long enough, you will need to use the Consumer Rights Act 2015 but will need to commission an independent report which finds an inherent fault. It is likely when you bought it that you would have had paperwork asking you to register the W/M for warranty.

Yeah I did register it for parts but did not take out the paying for someone to come out encase of this. I will contact argos first i think and go from there. Thanks
