Broken drain must be the problem.
AS before ring the local authority instead of guessing.0 -
You can pay for a CCTV survey of your drains.
That will tell you striaght away, I should think.
Cost about £100?
Watching how quickly what runs from where into the inspection chamber would start to isolate it, I guess.
When we had an internal problem in the past it was because someone hadn’t joined the waste pipes up correctly and had actually pushed one pipe straight into the main run out of our ensuite. A pipe was blocking the pipe. Stuff like hair will love to build up around that.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Thanks everyone. I have found the problem.
I opened the drain cover in front of the house and found a football sized lump of soggy tissues. That must have moved down a pipe into the inspection chamber since I last looked.
I have removed it and everything is now flowing as it should.
Thanks again for taking the time to read and advise.0 -
Well done, like our drains there may be a section of pipe where the tissue gets snagged now and then,
