Best practical advice is to start saving up for the catalyst that may or may not be needed in Jan.
Meantime, take it for a few long motorway/dual carriageway drives at speed. This will get the catalyst good and hot and help burn out some of the soot that was caused by running with an out of spec lambda sensor.
I've never had to change a catalyst becsuse it failed emissions, only when they partially block and the engine won't rev on load.
You can try a bottle of snake oil/magic fluid in the fuel tank if you like, but they are mainly nail varnish remover in expensive bottles.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

If if fails emissions put a new one on. If it doesn't then leave it until next time.
What engine is it0 -
Its when they cover up air bag lights you want to get concerned, Ive even seen side curtain airbags which have gone off still in car up behind the headlining and a unit for the plug to be plugged into rather than the airbag which will keep the airbag light off. These units you can buy quite easily. And obviously the worry that the car has seen a serious clout in the side at some point.0
