since running an update on my Windows 10 My Win Locker (Egis) is creating problems. every time I switch on my equipment a window appears saying updates unavailable. this has been happening for nearly a week how do I update or get rid of it. i have tried going into My control panel clicking on MY Win Locker and has tried both to amend or uninstall. Again a message appears saying unable to take this action as another programme is running. How do I correct this issue please..

Download Revo Uninstaller Free and click the My Win Locker icon,select advanced scanning option and delete all when prompted..

I have tried the Revo Unistaller free and when trying to uninstall My win Locker it will not allow saying another programme is running. Any other ideas please. is it worth trying a System Restore or will that created other problems.

Try booting into safe mode before uninstalling.

My technical expertese is very limited. What is safe mode. What steps do I need to take to get into Safe mode to unistall My Win Locker and do I need to go back to my original settings once unistalled or do I stay in Safe Mode.
