Parking Eye... is it too late?

Hi,
I have been pestered by PE for a while now and sadly I was following what I now believe are the "old rules" of "just ignore it". Two days ago I got a letter from Equita saying they were now collecting the debt and it had increased to £160.
I have since read a lot of information regarding Parking Eye and I now don't know what I should do.
Any help would be appreciated.

Do a forum search for Equita. There have been a couple of recent threads about them. Follow advice there. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If it's with Equita it's believed to be a case PE are not taking to Court - as U says, search the forum (just this parking board alone) for the keyword 'Equita'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
