problem applying for Nationwide FlexDirect

I've tried 3 times now to apply online and each time I get halfway through and a message from the website comes up saying there has been a 'technical' error and I have to go back to the start. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you solve it??

I opened one last week with no problems. Probably a temporary website issue so I'd try back again later today or tomorrow or call customer services.0

Clear browsing history & cookies first.
If you have an adblocker installed, disable that, then try again.
I've found ABP plays havoc with some online banking pages using Chrome:cool:0 -
I had this problem when trying to open an ISA whilst logged in to my mums account. Tried next day, same problem. Phoned customer services, they told me it was a website issue, and to log out and apply from the front page link like a new user. Just check your credit report next month.
I had same when applying with NatWest last year and ended up with THREE hard searches on my record, even though I only applied for ONE Reward account, and even then with NO overdraft!
Tried to get the record amended but nearly a year on and they still show.
Will drop off in Feb 2018.0 -
I had the same a while back - phoned them up and the application had actually gone through and I received my welcome letter, card and pin within 10 days or so of it all0
