Hi all,
Recently purchased a new car and changed this car to my current car before driving it home yesterday night (Tuesday). Checked on AskMID today and the car is not showing as insured, whereas my old car still shows as insured.
Is this liable to change in the next couple of days, or is there an issue that I'll need to contact my insurance about?
Thanks in advance.

I've seen cars taking up to a week to appear on Askmid. Just make sure you have your insurance details in the car in case you are stopped0

Previously i would have thought the same it takes time. But these days i would phone the insurer to make sure.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Should I have received updated documentation through email regarding my change of car?0

Why are you asking us this and not your insurer? The only people who can give you 100% correct information are your insurer, anybody here will just be guessing.0

Even if you have amended the insurance properly, as stated above, it can take a little while for the database to update, especially if you use a broker.
As already advised, just give them a call and check everything is in order.0 -

Was your original documentation received by email? If they're sending it in the post then expecting it by today is probably pushing it at this time of year.0 -
Can you tax it if it is not insured then?0
