Change the locks. My old landlord used to do this all the time when I was at work and I wish now I had done something about it. It sounds like they just don't understand the rules but still it's not OK and it's disrespectful to you. It will give you peace of mind if you change the locks. It may be their property but it is YOUR home.Save £12k in 2018 #130 - £1200/£7,0000

Yes, just change them.Whitewolf0158 wrote: »Right so this evening I’ve gone through the tenancy agreement. It does forbid me from changing the locks, but this is immediately under the part where they agree to not enter the premises without giving 24 hours notice. Can I change the locks in light of this breach or am I opening up a can of worms?
It's not a material breach.0
