Drink lots of water and walk around when you can.
If either of you have any dietary requirements-ie Veggie, salt free etc let the airline know at least 48 hours ahead minimum
As your daughter is not a child in the airline sense you could be seperated so to avoid this unlikely event check in as close to the 24 hour mark as possible on line.
And have a GREAT trip !!

  • Hi,

Hope OP has a great trip, i've travelled to Oz before and the flights have always been good, once with Singapore airlines and once with malaysian airlines. Free drinks and nice food is always a godsend on flights.

Not meaning to hijack the thread....I am about to fly long haul to NZ with British Airways (via Asia) on friday :D. I will check in online thurs night but was just wondering where I go when I get to the airport (manchester) to get rid of bags? do I just go to the normal check in desk?

    Hope someone can answer that,

    Cheers Matt

There should be a bag drop desk , but if not you go to the usual check in desks.
