Was the PCN received by day 14 and did it have the POFA 'registered keeper' words on the back?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi, yes it was received within 14 days, and there is a section on the back titled 'Protection of freedoms act' and refers only to the driver of the vehicle in this section.

I am actually going to the hall again tomorrow for another session and I will raise my disappointment with a member of staff and press them to get the charge rescinded.
However I am not too hopeful as when I spoke to them on the telephone they had very much the attitude of 'tough !!!! we can't help'

Throughout you are advised never to reveal who was driving.

Assuming you have not done so to the PPC you need to edit out of your posts references to who was driving. Refer to the "driver" in the third person throughout

The ppcs monitor this forum and can use your posts against you

You need to edit more than just #9 (which needs further editing!)

Is the terminal at reception visible and working when no one is on reception? And is it a single-use dedicated terminal that does not need any specialist training to put the registration in or does it need a member of staff to call up the app/program and to do it for you.

(I have seen such a system at some hotels but at our doctor's surgery, there is a dedicated terminal you enter your surname and date of birth to sign in.)

You may need to take a photo showing that it is impossible to enter the registration number without a member of staff in attendance.

I disagree with always relying on the template for all occasions if there is a genuine winning argument that can cancel the ticket. And do speak to the hall management.

what bloody use is that , surname , DOB may be completely different to the owner of the vehicle , does the doctors surgery have the VRN of all its patients?
