Just wondering as my mum changes the bed at least once a week and should a guest stay over she washes the sheets and quilt cover the same day (though has plenty of spares)
Towels often are used for a day then put in machine.
Me? I use my common sense, towels when they start getting limp, not fresh smelling, or stained (like if I cut myself shaving lol) I wash it, being a single person this is about twice a month maximum, similar for the bed sheets though I don't go to bed sweaty and wash delicate areas before bed.
What about other people?

Bedding - weekly (or more frequently depending on conditions)
Towels / face cloths / tea cloths - daily
Shirts / underwear / anything in contact with skin - daily
Trousers - twice a week (ie wear for 3 / 4 days)
Sofa throws - weekly (or more frequently depending on dog)
Jackets - once or twice a month0 -
Bed linens are changed weekly. I also use a top sheet
Washed @ 60
Towels, we each have two each, bath sheet and hair towel, washed weekly ( hung to dry on the radiator airer)
Face cloths changed daily
We both have separate work and leisure wear. When we come in from work, straight in to the shower and changed clothes. Work clothes washed and changed daily. Leisure clothes can be worn a good few times as A, we are clean before we wear them and B, might only have them on an hour before getting naked for bed0 -
Bedding every week.
(I always have a bath or shower every night, most mornings too, but I prefer going to bed clean after a hard days work)
Shower/bath/hand towels every 2/3 days depending on how many times I've used them.'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought

Bed clothes every week.
Towels Monday, Wednesday and Friday unless they are soiled before then.
Bath towels each time they are used.
Tea towels daily or more often than that if need be.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Bedding is done weekly, although I change DS1s pillow case daily (he’s having trouble with acne). We have our own towels and these are washed weekly too. Hand towels in bathrooms are washed every two or three days.0

No, everybody's different. Some people live/work in dirty cities, or have a grubby commute, or a grubby or sweaty job or hobby. Or grubby pets.
If it's just you and you're "clean" .... then what you do is perfectly normal/acceptable/reasonable.0 -
Beding is changed on Fridays. Towels, about every three days.0
