How to remove a Myson UFH actuator head

Hi there,
I asked this question in another place on the forum but it might do better here.
We have one zone of our underfloor heating not getting warm despite its thermostat calling for heat. Its actuator head on the UFH manifold is closed all the time. All the other zones are OK. I don't know what's wrong but it could be the actuator head, or a jammed pin beneath it?
I've read that if I take off the actuator head the valve may open, or I may be able to get to the pin to move it. Is it safe to just take off the actuator head and see? And how do I do that? The Myson head has a small tab on it, to enable it to be snapped into place. But how do I get it off again?
Thanks for your time.

This happened to us last month.
Can't quote the make sorry, but ..
The heads on ours just pop off - it's easier when they are 'open'
Can you then use pliers to lift the pin to allow that water through?
Two of the springs that push them open had broken - don't think you can buy a spare spring - plumber swapped a couple of them round so we could have heating where we wanted although we will have to get new valves some day for the swapped ones0 -
Thanks.
Have managed to get the actuator head off. The pin underneath seems to be stuck. I've lubricated with silicone grease and tapped/pulled with pliers. I can now move the pin downwards a tiny amount (=open?) but it comes back up as soon as I take pressure off. Time for a plumber, I think?0 -
