  • Just wanted to say a quick hello :hello: to you all. I am looking forward to hearing how you are all getting on with your 1%s. Well done to those who have already started the challenge.

I’m hoping in January to start decluttering our house and garage so fingers crossed I can sell some of the bits to raise a couple of %s. Other than that I’ll mainly be paying debt with additional hours worked and keeping an eye on my budget to allow me to make additional debt repayments.

What a great idea! I've set up my grid in a sheet on my finance spreadsheet. I currently have £700 outstanding on a credit card so if I'm looking at this right my 1% is £7. I'm putting all my £7's into a separate account and will add them to my minimum payment each month. I think that after this is paid off that I will use the same system for saving.

    Hello,

I’d love to join this challenge. Small steps seems like a good idea and I love the idea of celebrating each 1%

Total debt is £11,031.10 (includes x3 Credit Cards and Car Finance).

    So Lauralozzle - Total Debt: £11,031.10. 1% = £111

Looking at it like that doesn’t look so bad after all. :)
