If it's not too late I'd love to join. I've got £26,900 in credit card debt so my 1% is £270.

I won't be able to continue to pay down our debt at the same rate I've managed so far this year so I feel I need a new challenge to stop me getting demotivated. Seeing it in 1% steps will definitely help :)

I guess I should be happy but that 1% took me aaaaaages.

79% to go (that's a big number) and the whole point of this is that I think of it as chunks of £39. So £39 to go.

I've been AWOL for a while, so just wanted to update my total and I'll have a read through what I've missed later on. I'm at 29% now and my target is 35% for this year so I'm doing pretty well. This is thanks in part to paying off a £2000 loan since January. Now everything will slow down and I'll focus on paying my minimum payments each month until I start working. I hope everyone's doing well.
Restarted my journey toward financial stability on 1st September 2021 - I will succeed!

    Total debt - £39888.13 @ 31.08.21

    Current debt - £21270.51 @ 29.12.2023
    Paid to date: £18617.62

DFD: Aiming for end of 2028
