What did Plusnet say when you asked them?

They charge me £3.50 per month for Evening and Weekend calls, another £0.50 pm if you add on mobiles. Anytime unlimited is £8 pm but calls are limited to 60 minutes in duration.
  • I have gone for UNLIMITED UK AND MOBILE which is £8 per month

The OP is thinking about the old BT offers, in the days before inclusive call packages were introduced.

Inclusive Anytime call packages may have calls limited (usually to 60 mins )but you can make long calls by cutting off and redialling.

PlusNet anytime calls are only limited to 60 mins per call local and National - our lass can be on the phone all day, just have to keep reminding her to hang up and redial before the 60 mins expires. We usually have about 90 hours of calls a month, so even if it was 1p a minute, it's cheaper to have the anytime package.
