The two plumbers/heating engineers I know well no longer fit WB. They used to, and I preferred them, but they are really not as good as they were, but remain pricey...

Just check they are the ones for you.

Annual service is a must. Full cover? I would say its not necessary, particularly when they are new and under warranty.

Even a Vaillant 937/8 will only give you 20l per minute while the storage tank is full and upto temp, once you’ve used that the flow rates drop to 16l at only a 35c rise which mid winter will not be great. You may run 2 showers off these big combi’s but there not designed to do it. If you have more then 1 bathroom and have a combi then it’s a poorly designed system.

I have a good flow rate coming ( well over 20l /min)in the house running two thermostatic controlled showers.

Both running together and they both still run better than most hotel showers and a world away from Electric .

It will more often than not be your pipework not your boiler letting the shower experience down. 16.5 ltrs /min is plenty of hot water for two decent showers. but if you can't push it out then the boiler will not produce it.

Our plumbers wont fit Worcester anymore they say quality isnot as it was. Baxi are better
