Painted out disabled sign

I know it's old news, and I have read lots of the info (thank you) but im still a wee bit confused. I got a parking ticket back in June and appealed it on the grounds that:
A) they had (badly) painted out a disabled sign
i was displaying my blue basge and
C) the sign behind the car saying 'staff only' was miniscule
I heard nothing until last month when they again wrote asking for money, and now have the good pld DRP letter!
What do i do next please??

is this council or private ?
if its private , which parking company ?0 -
If DRP are involved, its almost certainly private.
Please start by informing yourself properly - read the Newbies Sticky at the top of this forum to see what works.
Signage could be an issue here if they ever took it to court but you also need to re-read the handbook that came with your badge. Blue Badges have no legal status on private property, except as a target pointing PPCs to the easiest drivers to mug0 -
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

He appears not to have noticed responses back in May.

Yes, sorry
I heard nothing for nearly 6 months then paniked when they started hounding me
It is a private company, i did read the info, thank you, but was still confused!0 -
6 months !! , they have 6 years to try and wheedle the money out of you, so for the first 6 to 24 months they are likely to be sending plenty of debt letters and threats through your letterbox
if you get an actual LBC or MCOL through the post within 6 years, come back for more help (but not debt collector letters)0 -
So, did you appeal... as suggested back in May?0
