my problem is that i have tried ringing but the phones are turned off I'm presuming this is coz all the staff had to leave the building so there is no one to answer the phones
You need to contact the liquidators directly.
But this will only work if there is a specific sofa somewhere with your name on it. If you merely ordered a sofa, then it could be anywhere, or it may never even have been delivered to the retailer - their suppliers aren't going to keep delivering stock to a company that has closed down because they won't get paid.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
