When will train ticket price rise this year?

Hi,
Anyone remember the date that train fare was raised this year? I think it is around Middle november 2006, but not sure.

The thing is that I need a new annual ticket at beginning of November and I can only buy it at the station at very end of October. I can buy the annual ticket via their website but they charge for handling fees and posts.

Do not want to get caught in the fair raise so am hoping that I buy it before the raise.

Fares rise in January, but may be announced before.

Found out that last year it was end of November. Although they say that the price will only increase from January, they actually increased the price immediately after the announcement if you want to buy from their website. (I only compared my annual ticket bought before the announcement with the price I got after their announcement, maybe it was just an online price error)

You probably got a discount for poor performance.
