You haven't followed the advice given to the in ,#2,!!

If you can be bothered go to that thread now and read up on this to learn about the game you are now caught up in

Also note the futility of any appeal to an IPC company!!

Given that Markham and Ravenside retail are adjacent to each other, many people park in one location and shop at both sites, so rick pickings for the Norris who sits in a little white van outside SCS waiting to pounce.

In a curious development, a couple of tickets have arrived at work today for this place, so I decided to try it out for myself. Now I'll wait to see if I get a ticket in the post too :)

The Norris has now got a grey Renault Clio, and didn't hang about when I asked him for a word.
I've got pictures of the signs in place, and given the miniscule size of text, I doubt they'd meet scrutiny for forming a valid contract.

Would you be willing to share a link to your photos? By post or PM? I have pictures myself but they were taken at night. I believe they've changed the signage a little since.

I can go over at lunchtime and get new pictures. I've not been there for a few weeks though.

If you're local it's also worth noting that The Range have now got Parking Eye cameras installed, but no such infestation at TK Maxx and B&M on the other side.

What's interesting about The Range is that the cameras don't (yet) appear to be working - I did a subject access request recently to ParkingEye and received data from numerous Aldi's around the country but nothing for The Range which is odd as I do frequent there.

They'll kick in as soon as they've agreed the bounty level they will share with the Range. If someone's making hay on their site I can't see them missing the opportunity of cashing in too. :)

Planning application was only approved on September 25th - https://publicaccess.chesterfield.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=PCS77EEPH5Z00

I've also got the photos which I will upload shortly. No sign of Norris in his Clio today though.

    Which is a shame....

Planning application seems to have been 'pulled'. Has some outfit been exerting pressure on the council?

    FOI time?

  • They are quick to quote the case Parking Eye v Beavis in the blurb they send through the post
What about VCSv Ibberson case 16/5/12 that the attendant made no effort to warn or stop the driver, about parking or leaving the site and it's their duty!

Apparently he sits in his car waiting to pounce!
    Good luck
