Hi all,

New user here, and after reading all threads re: parking fines thought It'd be best to explain my situation to see if anyone can offer assistance.

About 10 days ago, the driver visited the above Retail Park in Chesterfield. The driver parked up and walked next door to the neighboring Riverside Retail Park to return some items. Last week, a fine was from Premier Parking LTD. The reason being - 'Parking and Leaving Site'

Can this be contested? The 'fine' shows photos of the car, which have obviously been taken by patrol.

Thanks in advance.
Andy.

You’re admitting to everything here. You need a root and branch editing of both your posts.

A ‘leaving the site’ event is the most difficult for a parking company to pursue - unless there’s a willing confession!

Will PP LTD use CCTV in an attempt to trace the driver?

So they will recognise the driver’s face? Is he/she famous?

Very good point, I had totally forget about that 1 key point in that they don't know what I look like! So I basically appeal, saying I visited the store(s) ?

Yes, I'm aware I'm admitting to it on here. The point I'm trying to make is that if I appeal and say I did use their retail shops will the view CCTV footage to try and locate my whereabouts?

    You came for advice.

Throughout here the advice is never to reveal who was driving.

    Why argue???

The ppcs monitor this forum and can use your posts against you
  • I think my last post was misinterpreted, apologies.

I'm just trying to clarify if the driver has rights to appeal, depending on what retails shops were visited.

You of course have a right to appeal.

Doesn't it say so on the correspondence?

More editing needed of your post to remove details of who was driving
  • Thank you. Edited again.

Should the driver make reference to any retail shops he/she did/didn't visit? This is where the confusion lies. And exactly what Premier Parking LTD can/can't prove.
