Large deposit for small job

I really think you’re overthinking this.
It’s taken more effort here to complain than it would have done to query it.
Right now, I don’t have a subcontractor that can send me a correctly formatted invoice. These people are trades, not administrators. Some can’t even open an email.
If he said there was no deposit then that will be what he meant. I can almost guarantee that the quote has been edited from a previous one and ended up with more detail than it should have had.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
