If you're in a location likely to be icy in the morning, go outside and put your vehicle in gear, put a brick or two behind a tyre and release the handbrake.

Lots of worse things, a frozen engine block for one.
Unless your parking your car up for months in a leaky garage with

Starting your car tonight makes it less likely to start in the morning as the battery will be a bit flatter. Don't do it.0 -

Actually they usually come on with windscreen dentist setting.
Also since refrigerant boiling point, let alone freezing point, is about -20.. pretty unlikely our temps are gonna freeze anything0 -
The condensers will freeze at low temperatures, thats the puddle under the car on a hot day. They get a layer of condensation on them or worse.
The light may come on but its not actually running the AC. Check your manual its usually around 5 - 8 C.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

The car has been garaged since Friday evening, and I have no intention of driving it until Wednesday, the snow should have cleared by then.0
