Stability issues

I've just done a credit score for the first time and it came out as fair.

The areas that were affecting me were Stability and Credit applications. I recently switched to B bank and have swapped mobile phone contracts a few times this year.

Would being 'fair' mean it's unlikely I will get a mortgage? I'm looking to apply for a mortgage in the next month but didn't know the above areas impacted on credit score (I have always paid any credit in full)

Will closing a mobile contract really stop me getting a mortgage?

Comments

  • Ignore the score since it's meaningless.

It's the data on your files that matters.

Sign up with all 3 CRA's and check what data they hold on your files, ignoring the score!

A change in wind or the phase of the moon can change your "score"
