Complete re decoration

I am currently thinking about making an offer on a house, every room is in need of decorating, its a very small three bed house in Gloucestershire. I am the worlds worst decorator so want to get someone in, Any ideas of how much I should budget for this?

What is a complete redecoration?

Slap a coat of magnolia over what ever is there?

Strip wallpaper, patch plaster, 3 coats of paint + a feature wall?

re skin of artex, re paint ceilings?

Sand back all skirting + architrave + staircase, and regloss 2 coats?

until you know exactly what you want doing, its not even possible to guess.
