Are working tax benefits affected by ownership of freehold

Options
I have a house with (officially) three leasehold flats. I own the freehold and the leaseholds. (I know it sounds weird but it is historical). I want to extend the leases, which are now quite short, so that on my death my children will be able to sell more easily. I had assumed I could do this in the same way as it presently exists - but apparently not! In order to do it, I need to add another person to the freehold to re-grant the extended leases to myself. I was thinking of adding my daughter. She is about to go on to working tax credit and child tax credit. I would like to know if this might affect those benefits. She will not be earning much (if anything) from this. (I can determine an amount or not). She already owns her own freehold house where she lives.
Thank you.
