Rat Problem

I found I had a rat in the house which is now solved.

Dispite the fact I yesterday bought two new rat traps the rat died by means of fridge door.

I heard it inside an old fridge when I opened the door it fell to the bottom trying to escape I slammed the door closed very quickly hence a very flat and very dead rat.

Why did you have an old fridge in the house?

Do rats often hide in old fridges? I've got an old fridge in the garage and reading this makes me want to check it. Or would if I wasn't too scared of rats.

I think it got in as the door seal had brakes in it and door not closing correctly
