Pension guarantee credit

Hi, my boiler has gone for good. Engineer mentioned I may qualify for a grant/new one. It seems I must be on pension guarantee credit (am 65). I used a 'benefits calculator' and it came up with
Pension Credit
£7.41 / weeklyPension Credit Award.
IMPORTANT. Our estimate includes an amount for the savings credit element of Pension Credit. However, if you or your partner reached state pension age after 6th April 2016 then this estimate is likely to be wrong. Please get more information on the eligibility change for the savings credit element of Pension Credit.
Pension Credit - savings credit award: £7.41. Pension Credit consists of two parts – a guarantee element and a savings credit element.
Pension Credit - guarantee credit award: £0.00. Pension Credit consists of two parts – a guarantee element and a savings credit element.
So it seems I could get a savings credit, but NOT a pension guarantee credit. Am I reading this right, ie no entitlement re boiler help.

Yes, it needs to be Guarantee Pension Credit.
BUT
Do you receive working tax credit? Over 60 and receiving WTC is also a qualifying criteria.
You can check whether you are eligible here:

https://www.ageuk.org.uk/brandpartnerglobal/afanneddvpp/documents/fs48_pension_credit_fcs.pdfSometimes it 'frightens' me how much I am saving each month ! Where does the money come from (I don't earn that much......). It just rolls out of 1/2/3 (2 odf these) at 1.5% and into 2-6% monthly. Still little when you look at it at the end of each Saver, but good fun !
See above re Guarantee Credit ( and the effect that savings can have on this) and on Savings Credit.0
