Trust Account charges

I have just received another Trustees Report showing how Natwest buy and sell their own stocks and how the charges are calculated. I am a novice to this site, but my question is;
Can I reclaim the charges Natwest have placed on the initial administration fee of setting up the Trust which runs into thousands and with a few thousand being charged annually for their services.
My dead uncle left a will naming me as a beneficiary to several hundered Lloyes TSB shares. When he died, Natwest as the Trustee, sold all the TSB shares and created their own portfolio, charges for every transaction and actually reducing the value of the TSB shares down by several thousand pounds. The current portfolio now consists of Natwest funds and today the difference in comparing Lloyds TSB to the Natwest portfolio is approx £30,000. I am outraged how Natwest have managed to slice off thousands in transaction charges and service charges.
I have met with Natwest, there argument is that they spread the risk by providing a portfolio oh that is by the way soley Natwest funds ! and they say its hindsight that Lloyds TSB has performed well. Also they say their charges are normal and competitive for offering such services.
I am not happy, is there anyone out there that can try to understand my situation and offer any advice. How can I stop Natwest taking advantage. Can I reclaim the loss in value and enforce that they either make up what they have lost.
