Hi,
Read through all the links and FAQs.
I have been sent a County Courts Business centre claim, for parking in a private car park. I ignored all tickets and debt agency letters as was told to.
I have acknowledged it and asked for extension,.
What now, can anyone help please
Thanks

You should not have ignored it. Whoever told you to do that is an idiot of the highest order.
You need to read this

That's me then. Ignoring is perfectly legitimate response and one that is being adopted with certain PPCs. It is not universal but it can be the way forward.
I can recommend ignoring for those that are smart enough not to listen to people who say "don't ignore"This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi, Read the thread about how to defend etc.
The problem I have is because I threw all the tickets and requests etc away, I have no idea what evidence they have. Also the car park I got the ticket in is no longer there, it has been developed on. It was a private car park, so I wasn't even able to buy a ticket, it just said 'Private parking' if I can recall.
Thanks0 -
You need to send in a defence. There are plenty about if you search for the parking company.
As regards the paperwork, write to the parking company and ask for it (get proof of posting)
You have 33 days from the date of the claim to get the defence in.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Same as loads of people, but you will find example defences that cover the bases. show us the draft you put together based on other ones here.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
