Chrome window has fallen off left side of desktop

Windows 7 is working fine but the window in which I view Chrome/Google has slipped off the left hand side of the Windows desktop. You can just see the right hand corner on the far left of the desktop and I have to grab this corner and pull it back to centre of the desktop to use it. I don't know what I did to cause this.
Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Are you saying that it opens in this position by default ?
If so, firstly close chrome and kill any "chrome.exe" processes in task manager
then click start and type %localappdata% into the search box and press enter
In the box that pops up, go into the Google folder, then the Chrome folder
Then the User Data folder and then the Default folder.
There you will find a file called "preferences"
