M&S &MORE Chargecard

I'm applying for M&S Chargecard. I was wondering if anyone who knows about them could let me know; Would I be able to use gift vouchers to pay off the balance? I see I can't with the reward vouchers and I don't mean gift cards (although not reallysure what the difference is!) I mean the ordinary gift vouchers?

Also, is it OK for more than one person in the household to hold a card with them?

Lastly, does anyone know any tips for attracting more offers in the post? Don't know, but worth an ask, I love M&S ;)

Thanks in advance, Muffin

  • Hi.

I've got one as well. The reward vouchers can only be used for spending in M&S. They sometimes send you some extra vouchers as well.

Can see why you can't both apply for your own card. The contract should be between you personally and M&S.

    Thanks Jonathon :)

I've applied for one today so *fingers crossed*

Extra vouchers certainly sound like they'd come in handy!

Probably should have applied for one sooner! :)
  • Hiya,

Gift vouchers can't be used to pay off the balance, used to be the case until a year ago when they changed it.

Fine for more than one person in the household, me, mum and dad all have seperate accounts.

For getting vouchers, one of two ways - they seem to have different offers for different groups, if you spend lots then you often get vouchers for freebies on special days, e.g. bottle of wine, box of cocs, and if you don't spend much you usualy get vouchers that give you more bonus points to entice you. But to be honest if you're a big spender on it, then you'll use whatever offers they send you with your reward points every 3 months (e.g. spend £50 on per Una get 700 points for example).

Don't forget you have the ability to pay off in store if you don't wanna wait for the bill to come!
